About Us
Our Objectives
- To be a spiritual organism empowered by the Holy Spirit to minister to and to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.
- To be a worshipping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing His person, and responding in obedience to His leadership and to grow in our relationship with God and our fellow believers.
- To be a church whose purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the Lordship of Christ.

Our Statement of Faith
Recognizing that Christianity is not a system of doctrines, but a personal relationship with the Living God, and recognizing the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, we then rely on the Holy Bible as the basis for any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention of June 14, 2000. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.

Meet Our Pastor
Bro. Terry Linderman has served in ministry for nearly 30 years and currently leads First Baptist Church in Hardy, Arkansas. With a shepherd’s heart and a passion for helping people grow in their walk with Christ, Bro. Terry is committed to preaching God’s Word, caring for people, and equipping believers for meaningful ministry.

Although raised in a Christian home and coming to faith at a young age, Bro. Terry sensed God’s calling to pastoral ministry later in life. Through years of service in music and youth ministries, God shaped his gifts for leadership, teaching, and discipleship. He was licensed to the ministry in 2003 and ordained as a pastor in 2015.

In 2021, Pastor Terry helped launch Fellowship Southern Baptist Church in Hardy, Arkansas, from the ground up. What began as a small group of believers with limited resources developed into a healthy, financially stable church with its own facility, growing ministries, and a strong commitment to discipleship, stewardship, and spiritual growth. In December 2025, Fellowship Southern Baptist Church merged with First Baptist Church of Hardy. Following the retirement of Dr. Larry Kindrick, Bro. Terry now serves as Senior Pastor, leading through preaching, pastoral care, counseling, and vision casting, while encouraging each member to identify and use their God-given gifts.
Bro. Terry is a graduate of Faith Bible Institute and has previously served as Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Minister of Music in Southern Baptist churches throughout the region. He has also served in associational leadership and camp ministry, investing in the next generation of church leaders.
Bro. Terry and his wife, Sandra, have been married since 1982. They cherish time with their family and grandchildren and consider it a joy to serve the church together. Pastor Terry’s heart is to see lives transformed by the gospel and the local church strengthened for God’s glory.
